The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as a seasoned HR professional who provides strategic counsel across all facets of human resources. This role integrates multiple HR disciplines to address complex business challenges, balancing legal considerations with company policy to guide sound decision-making. As a strategic advisor and subject matter expert, they partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with business objectives, drive organizational change, and build a high-performing workforce. Core responsibilities include strategic planning, organizational design, workforce planning, change management, and talent strategy. Responsible for translating business needs into effective HR solutions, supporting internal mobility, employee experience, culture, reskilling, upskilling, and long-term capability building. In partnership with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), ensures HR programs and practices advance company goals, profitability, and growth. This position leads the resolution of complex employee relations matters and oversees initiatives related to attrition, succession planning, top-talent retention, employee engagement, and leadership development. It leverages HR metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Coaches senior leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, enhance people management capabilities, and reinforce a healthy organizational culture. As a change agent, the role guides leaders through organizational transformations, managing resistance and ensuring successful adoption. Additional responsibilities include advising on HR policies and programs, leading or contributing to enterprise HR projects, and serving as an escalation point and mentor for junior HR professionals. Primary Responsibilities: Demonstrates a working knowledge of critical HR functions Applies workforce planning knowledge, engagement and development strategies, and succession management Delivers customized human resource solutions for organizational challenges Seeks professional HR development and skill-building to improve effectiveness Uses internal and external insight of the business and organization to improve talent and business outcomes Demonstrates understanding of the relationship between HR and core business functions Understands organizational financials and metrics and their correlation to business success Makes the business case for HR (ROI, etc.) Execution of critical HR processes, including compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, talent development and workforce planning Collaborate with the HR Business Partners and Business/Operations groups to provide high-impact HR solutions Support employee relations, ethics, or compliance investigations (initial interviews & fact gathering); maintain tracking for issues/concerns and handle inquiries from employees or managers Serve as a trusted advisor to the business leaders and employees Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, in support of HR programs and policies Counsel managers and employees on situational issues; participates in internal investigations, corrective actions, and coaching, to resolve employee conflicts Consistent application of QTC HR policies to mitigate risk and ensure equitable solutions Other HR projects as assigned Required Qualifications/Competencies: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience/combined education 10 years of professional level broad-based experience in HR, including employee relations and knowledge and understanding of EEO laws, Affirmative Action, and conflict resolution Working knowledge of applicable state and federal employment, and compliance requirements Technically competent in Microsoft Office programs, and previous experience with HR management software Excellent team building skills, self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Strong business acumen and understanding of the HR strategic partnership in driving business results Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills Must have strong communication skills to include verbal, written, and interpersonal About Leidos QTC Health Services Leidos QTC Health Services collaborates closely with government and non-government customers to address current and future program needs within the health services domain.
