Job Description The HR Partner - Consultant Staff plays a key role supporting consultant and operational leaders on a range of employment and human resources issues for physicians, scientists, and senior leaders in Florida. This position acts as a local expert on strategic and workforce planning, collaborating closely with site CEO and the leadership and assessment medical director, to design and implement leadership assessment and development initiatives. Responsibilities include providing executive coaching, guiding leaders in conflict management, and partnering on complex compensation matters. The HR Partner will interpret and communicate Mayo Clinic's policies and procedures, lead investigations involving consultant staff, and offer solutions to challenging HR issues. In this role, you will help drive the strategic priorities of the Site Personnel Committee and work alongside other HR leaders to roll out people and culture initiatives that align with Florida's growth strategy. Additionally, you'll participate in search committees for physician/scientist department chairs and leadership positions across the Florida site. As a governance expert for Consultant Staff, you will advise on by-laws, committee structures, clinical practice policies, and related governance topics. Collaboration with colleagues across Human Resources, Legal, and other departments-such as Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, Office of Staff Services, Occupational Health, Professionalism and Values, Diversity, Medical and Industry Relations, and Conflict of Interest-is essential to supporting Consultant Staff. Qualifications Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field with 8 years related experience or a Master's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field with 5 years relevant experience. Additionally, must have consulting agility and adaptability, business acumen and fluency, visionary leadership and an understanding of emerging trends; excellent time management, project management skills, customer service, organizational, verbal & written communication skills, and presentation skills necessary. Knowledge of other HR disciplines required. Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, and team problem-solving skills. Demonstrated computer proficiency. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred. Experience or knowledge of physician/scientist practices and protocol. Experience or knowledge of organizational and committee governance. Travel required to other sites and regions as needed.
