Job Description: The HR Generalist will support a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits coordination, payroll, and performance support. This individual will partner with leadership and employees to maintain a productive and compliant work environment. Key Responsibilities: Act as a resource for employees regarding workplace policies, procedures, and general HR inquiries Address employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and supporting appropriate resolutions Partner with managers on performance concerns, coaching, and corrective action plans Contribute to a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives Assist with recruiting efforts, including coordinating postings, interviews, and candidate communication Facilitate onboarding processes and new hire orientation activities Ensure all employment documentation and onboarding requirements are completed accurately Support administration of benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related questions Help coordinate annual open enrollment and ongoing benefits processes Manage leave requests in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g., medical and protected leave) Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems Assist with compliance efforts, audits, and reporting requirements Support updates and communication of HR policies and procedures Partner with leadership on performance management and employee development initiatives Coordinate training efforts and identify opportunities for employee growth Process employee status updates and support payroll/timekeeping coordination Generate reports and assist with HR-related analytics and special projects Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred (relevant experience considered in lieu of degree) 2-3 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus Additional Details: Strong understanding of HR practices and employment regulations Experience working with HRIS platforms (such as UKG or similar systems) Ability to manage sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Familiarity with payroll processes and benefits administration preferred This is a primarily onsite role in a professional office environment with occasional light physical activity Perks: Competitive compensation and paid time off 401(k) eligibility starting on day one Comprehensive health coverage options, including medical, dental, vision, and supplemental plans Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Supportive, team-oriented work environment Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
